A former City of Pewaukee alderman already facing charges of sexual assault of a child now faces additional accusations of possessing child pornography and misconduct with another child.

In the latest charges, filed Friday, Anthony Balistreri, 42, now of Burlington, was accused in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday of having repeated sexual contact with a child.

Prosecutors said Balistreri took nude photos of the girl in 2002, encouraged her to have sex with boys her age during that time period and then had sex with the girl, now 17, last month while he was free on bail and awaiting trial on the sexual assault charges filed last year.

The new charges include two counts of failure to protect a child and one count each of child exploitation, causing a child to view sexual activity, child enticement and bail jumping.

According to a criminal complaint, Balistreri's family found nine computer disks and compact discs in a box of his belongings. Images on the disks included pictures of children posing and in sex acts, the complaint said.

Balistreri was charged in June with one felony count of first-degree sexual assault of a child and one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child.
