Eric J. Babb is charged with three counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material and four counts of pandering sexually oriented material with a minor. In addition, he faces misdemeanor charges of illegal manufacturing of drugs, possession of criminal tools and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cuyahoga Falls Police Lt. Mike Gay said police searched Babb's home Monday after receiving information from an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent that Babb was involved in child pornography.

According to the affidavit for a search warrant prepared by Falls Detective Cheryl L. Desko, when the immigration agent met with her on March 7 he showed her a 44-second video clip of a preschool child engaged in a sexual act with an adult.

The video clip was discovered Nov. 23 by the computer crime unit of the German National Police in Stuttgart, Germany, while conducting a search of the Gnutella file sharing network.

The German police unit worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to identify the specific computer address attached to the video clip. Their investigation led to Babb, according to the affidavit.

During their search at Babb's home, police discovered a marijuana grow room set up in a crawl space. They seized about 200 grams of marijuana, grow lights and a bong.
