STRATFORD -- An unemployed artist was acquitted of sexually assaulting two teens yesterday, but a judge found him guilty of making child porn in a motel room here.

Matthew Snetsinger, 38, was also found guilty of possessing images of child pornography on his computer, seized by police from his bedroom at his parents' home after he was charged in April 2004.

They drank alcohol and played Truth or Dare before engaging in consensual sexual acts, including intercourse with one, a 15-year-old, he testified before Superior Court Justice Roland Haines.

Snetsinger's lawyer said the child porn could have been put on the hard drive by others with access to the computer or by a previous owner of the computer, which was bought used.
