A. I believe they've just got to snag Corey Haim, to compliment Corey Feldman, and they they've got their Bo and Duke. (But for the record : No, no casting news, yet). Is that you Wopat?

A. That's the Stan Lee bio, right? No, I know…. I'm just being funny, ya'know?. It's coming, so they say, its just taking it's sweet time in happening. In December, Iain Softley signed to direct, so I'm guessing, since someone's now steering the ship, it's going to be in pre-production this year, possibly film the next. And no, nobody has been cast. Except Stan Lee, as Inkheart.

A. Nah, they won't. Thanks for your thoughts…and by the way, remember, Deep Heat isn't to be taken orally. (Quite aware of the film though, it sounded quite good. Hopefully, it'll still see the light of day, sometime).

A. Every newbie gets a pair of “Moviehole” underwear (recycled, of course, to help the environment), you know that, right? Anyway, yeah, the next “Batman” film will ‘apparently' see Batman/Bruce Wayne teaming up with D.A Harvey Dent and Jim Gordon to track down a villainous new foe known as… The Joker. As far as I'm aware, Dent and The Joker are the only two new major characters in the script, sure to be more though – for instance, there are rumours that ‘The Penguin' may appear.

A. I've heard the Spielberg/”Captain America” rumours too, but it's too early to say. As for “Hulk 2”, I have an interview coming up with Eric Bana, in which he states that he still hasn't heard a peep out of Marvel regarding the sequel. They say it's full-speed ahead, but they've yet to contact the star yet…saying he's required back. Rather silly. Read into that what you will.

A. No, there was never a script for a “Karate Kid 5”. There was a scriptment, there was an outline….. there was a ‘rough plan' to do one. Never got as far as a script, though. One outline had the story fixing on Daniel Larusso's son, whose having troubles of his own, whom pleads his father to teach him the ways of the late Miyagi (flashbacks all the way). Plans for the film were thrown out, when the late, great, Pat Morita died. It wouldn't be a film without Morita…. It was the best thing to do. As for “Gremlins 3”, there were rumours that they were going to do a CGI sequel, a couple of years back, but I don't think it got beyond anything other than that – rumours.

A. Not God, merely the son of. Anyway, “Hard Candy” is due for DVD release on in the states in September. As for which “X-Men” spin-off we will see first, I'd say it'd be “Wolverine”. There's talk that Juggernaut (Vinnie Jones) might pop up in that one, but in all honesty, there's not a lot to tell, yet. As for “Twin Peaks : Season 2”, it's supposed to be coming out on DVD sometime this year. Finally. Lynch has been scrubbing the negatives with sugar soap, apparently.

A. Dave has all the info you need on the next “Batman” movie. Dave, meet Sami – she likes long walks on the beach, flying a kite with friends, and cutting her toenails in front of “How I met your mother”. As for the other films – nothing much new on “Spider-Man 3”, only that it's looking super cool, “The Grudge 2” is as good as done (Amber Tamblyn is apparently rather good in it), and it'll be out shortly, and Sarah Michelle Gellar's new film? I assume you're referring to “The Return”. If you are, it's apparently pretty cool. I talked to one of her co-stars from the film, Adam Scott, recently, who told me it's a great thriller – and features a really superb supporting performance by Aussie export, Peter O'Brien. After that, Gellar will be seen in “Alice”, “The Air I breathe”, “The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing”, and “Addicted”. Her latest film, “Southland Tales”, sees her playing a porn-star. Wait, guys! Come back! It's not out yet! Not released yet! Please! Return! We're not finished, yet!

A. Haven't actually heard anything about that – they're actually doing two new “Judge Dredd” films, apparently – for a good year or so. All I recall is that they were talking about getting an unknown to play the man in the hard-helmet.

A. I've answered most of your email ‘privately', as you'll know, but for the sake of the rest of our readers, here's the gist: 1) Eddie Murphy hasn't done any straight-to-DVD kids films. If you're referring to “Doctor Dolittle 3”, he isn't in it. 2) Paramount are toying with the idea of a “Beverly Hills Cop 4”. But they've been toying with that, longer than Paul Reubens has been toying with his stuff.

A. He has a small role in “Just My Luck” with Lindsay Lohan, and he's about to start shooting “Wild Hogs”, playing a sheriff, which stars John Travolta and Tim Allen.

A. Not entirely. Steve Guttenberg said an interview a year or so back that he ‘wouldn't be surprised' if there was a third film in the series, especially considering that the French film that the “3 Men” was based on had recently spawned a second sequel, but there's nothing official. Personally, I think they'll go the remake route, as sad as that will be.
