Mitali Perkins is the author of Ambassador Families: Equipping Your Kids to Engage Popular Culture, released in November 2005 by Brazos Press. Mitali studied Political Science at Stanford University and Public Policy at U.C. Berkeley. She has also written for Christianity Today, Discipleship Journal, Campus Life, With, Prism, War Cry, U.S. Catholic, and other periodicals. She also writes fiction for young adults, including Monsoon Summer (Random House, 2004) and The Not-So-Star-Spangled Life of Sunita Sen (Little Brown, 2005). Mitali is married to the Reverend Rob Perkins, senior pastor of Newton Presbyterian Church, and they have twin sons. The Perkins family lived in India, Bangladesh, Thailand, and California before settling in Massachusetts.
